Each year, thousands of cooked turkeys grace the plates of our dinner tables. Pumpkin pie is shared, as well as cranberry sauce and stuffing! Friends and familiy spend important time together creating new memories, while kids cheer about a few extra days off of school. As exciting as those parts of Thanksgiving are; let's not forget the true meaning of the holiday. Thanksgiving is a time for all of us to acknowledge those important things in our lives, and give thanks to them. Think about the things in your life that you are thankful for. What makes your life so important and happy? What things, people, or opportunities do you have that you are thankful for? Remember, not everybody has the same opportunities or privileges. In the comments section, please share with your classmates the things in your life that you are thankful for. Be sure to include why you are thankful for those things. As always, be sure to check for complete sentences, proper spelling, and grammar. Remember to never include your last name, address, or any other personal information.
